Announcing the 2017 Landscape Contest
It’s that time of year again – time to break out the shrub shears, stock up at your local Lowe’s, plan out your planting schedule, and get ready to enter the 8th annual Wayne Landscape Contest!
While the inside of the home is obviously important, from cabinets to countertops, flooring to window treatments, curb appeal is also a huge part of what makes your house a home. That’s why we are challenging everyone, amateurs to gardening enthusiasts, to enter our contest. Roll up your sleeves, get your hands dirty, and show us what you can do!
The first day to enter is May 15, and you have until July 7 to get your submissions in. We’ll announce winners on July 10, and have some great prizes to dole out!
To show our appreciation for your hard work, winners will receive a Lowe’s gift card: $1,000 for first place, $500 for second and $250 for third. Plus, you have a chance to win the People’s Choice Award, which is good for another $500 gift card!
You can also help us find the People’s Choice winner by visiting our Facebook page (you have to like us for your vote to count!) and choosing your favorite, once the contest opens May 15.
Go classic, try something quirky and creative; let your imagination run wild! No matter what you decide to do, be sure to send us those stunning digital photos (no photoshop or editing please!) by July 7.

Past winners aren’t eligible to win again, but if you have entered before and haven’t placed, there’s no reason not to give it another shot! Who knows — it could result in a nice little payout to fund your next gardening adventure!
