Featured Raving Fan of the Month: The Sutters

We believe the best way to learn about building a custom home with Wayne Homes is to hear from the homeowners themselves. This month, we are featuring Jim and Pam Sutter, who built their McAllister Family home in Richfield, Ohio in 2015 with the Akron-Medina office.

Why did you choose Wayne Homes as your builder?

We had built a home with Wayne Homes in the past and had a great experience.

Which Wayne Homes floor plan did you choose?

We loved the floor plan of the McAllister, so that is what we went with this time.

What’s your favorite custom feature?

The gas fireplace with the remote control.

How do you and your family spend time in and around your home?

We love relaxing on both the front and back covered porches or sitting in the living room with family and friends enjoying the warm fire.

What was the best part of your Wayne homebuilding experience?

All of it. Especially that our house was done on time.

We are newly retired. I was a registered nurse and worked with older patients to keep them living at home for as long as possible. We built our home using modifications to help us stay in our home as long as we can in our old age. My husband was in construction and he put the sewer hook up to our home. Wayne Homes helped us customize our home to meet all of our needs. Wayne Homes gave us a home we could retire in and the ranch floor plan is exactly what we needed.

What would you tell your friends about Wayne Homes?

Wayne Homes is a trusted builder! We just LOVE our home.

How many kids are in your family and what are their ages?

All of our five children are grown and living on their own.

Do you have pets, and if so, what are their names?

When we built our home, we had one dog, Smokey. He loved to hang out on the porches. Unfortunately, Smokey passed a few years ago, but we now have Maggie, a 2-year-old golden doodle. Though she’ll never replace Smokey, she, too, enjoys the back porch.
