Meet the Michigan Team

Our Hartland team, which you can find at 11600 Highland Road in Hartland, Michigan, is a talented group of professionals with decades of combined experience in home building and selling. Today, we want to introduce you to the team, in case you’re ever in the area and want to stop by and say hello!

Our Hartland Sales Manager, Julie Zermeno, came to Wayne with more than 18 years’ experience in banking, so she knows a thing or two about customer satisfaction. She has a contagious enthusiasm the rest of her team loves and is a natural leader. “I’m looking forward to building a team that is passionate about helping our clients build their dream home,” she said. “There is no better feeling than seeing the happiness on a customer’s face and knowing you were part of making that happen!”

When she’s not leading the Hartland center, Julie enjoys spending time with her four children and five grandchildren, and her energetic goldendoodle, Sophia Grace. When she isn’t spending time with her family, she enjoys traveling to beaches, especially the Bahamas, and anywhere historic.

Torrie Hunt is excited to be part of the Hartland team and is ready to build a relationship with you to create your dream home. Her outgoing and friendly demeanor help her work with families to build their dream homes, no matter what they want or need. “I love working with people and I am excited to help them find and customize their dream home,” she said. When Torrie isn’t working with the rest of our Hartland team, she loves spending time outside, playing the piano, spending time with her family, friends, and boyfriend, and taking trips up north to Traverse City. Her pets keep her busy; ask about her six dogs and two cats!

CJ Simons has a similar passion for creating the best customer experience she can. She specializes in helping families customize any floorplan to fit their needs perfectly. “My favorite part of the home building process is seeing how happy people are when its finished and they have a beautiful new home to move into,” CJ said. When she’s not helping Wayne Homes homebuyers, CJ loves to spend time with family and friends, outdoors and at local state parks, at the lake, or just relaxing on her porch. She loves to travel, and has a soft spot for New York City in particular.

We are thrilled to have Justin Field on the team as the Hartland Construction Manager. He lives just five minutes away from the Hartland Model Center, with his wife, Heather, and their children, Eric, Emmett, Nolan, and Ella. Justin joined our team last fall and he is dedicated to providing quality and service to our homebuyers. He is a licensed builder with experience in remodeling and running his own business, and he also owned an insurance business, and worked for AT&T as an installer and troubleshooter.

Outside of his work as the Hartland Construction Manager, Justin is an avid outdoorsman who loves to hunt and camp. He is also active in Boy Scouts with his sons; recently spending an overnight trip with the Scouts on a submarine. Justin also likes to spend his free time reading code books!

Brandon Ochmanek joins our team with a passion for homebuilding, making him the perfect fit for our new Field Manager in Hartland, Michigan. Brandon comes from the insurance industry where he owned and operated his own independent insurance agency. He shares Justin’s passion for providing quality and service to our homebuyers.

Brandon resides in southern Michigan with his fiancée Amber, children Haley, Braylon, Briana and three dogs. While not working hard they enjoy kayaking on the Michigan rivers near Ann Arbor, spending family time together and watching sports.
