Open Houses are real eye-openers.
If you really want to get to know a person — or a home — you have to get face-to-face.
That’s the basic idea behind our Open House events. And looking back across all our Open Houses this year (there were 37 of them!), we have to say that the people who attended got even more information and insight than they were expecting.
The main purpose of a Wayne Homes Open House is to let people experience one of our floorplans (like the ever-popular Montgomery plan) that doesn’t yet exist as a model home. How this works is that one of our previous buyers generously opens his or her home to a bunch of strangers, who in turn get to fully explore the home, ask a lot of questions and take a lot of measurements.
This year, it worked like a charm.
Dozens of homeshoppers got to see in living color homes they had previously seen only online. They were able to feel how their favorite floorplan really lives — how big the kids’ bedrooms are, how open the kitchen is and how masterful the master suite is. And this often inspired them to consider different ideas for customizing their own homes (which, of course, Wayne Homes makes easy and affordable).
A few comments that we overheard:
“I had no idea the family room was so big.”
“So you’re saying you can guarantee when my home will be finished? That’s awesome!”
And our favorite: “I love this home. I really think it’s the one.”
