You're Invited: Open Houses
If you really want to get to know a person — or a home — you have to get face-to-face.
That’s the basic idea behind our Open House events. The main purpose of a Wayne Homes Open House is to let people experience one of our floorplans (like the ever-popular Montgomery plan) that doesn’t yet exist as a model home. How this works is that one of our current customers generously opens his or her home during construction to a bunch of strangers, who in turn get to fully explore the home, ask a lot of questions and take a lot of measurements.
We hope you can join us for a Wayne Homes Open House.
If you’re looking for a traditional two-story with four bedrooms you’ll want to see this Wilmington. The Legacy Elevation includes a stone wrap at the porch and garage plus stone at the two story tower at the Den/Master Bedroom end. A wrap porch is also included. Additional windows have been added to the front bedroom, master bedroom, den and foyer, all included in the Legacy elevation. The Wilmington has a beautiful spacious kitchen. This one is shown with Spring Valley maple cabinets along with crown molding and 42” tall wall cabinets. A premium countertop has also been chosen. A Direct Vent fireplace has been added in the Family Room with a stone face from floor to ceiling. 9’ ceilings are throughout the first floor which makes the home feel even more open and spacious. 5 ¼” trim is shown and the included white spindles at the stairs have been replaced with stained oak. A cathedral ceiling has been added to the Master Suite. The Master Bath features a whirlpool tub and separate shower. This home has a full walk out basement with 13 course block plus plumbing lines for a ¾ bath to be finished later.
If you want to see an example of what’s possible, this is the home to see. Walking in the front door you probably won’t recognize the Chelsea floorplan. It’s grown from 1,810 square feet to over 3,000. And, it’s shown with the favorite Craftsman style elevation. Additional square footage has been added to the garage and a 6x8 area has been added for extra storage. A 20 x 20 first floor master suite has been added to the rear of the kitchen and laundry area and a 22 x 21 Great Room has been added behind the Dining Room. In addition to that, 4’ has been added to the entire back of the home. Upstairs you’ll find four bedrooms and two baths. One of the baths is a Jack and Jill with a double vanity. The Powder Room has been relocated to the other side of the stairs. A large walk in pantry has been added to the redesigned kitchen along with a new Laundry Room that will hold two stacked sets of washers and dryers. Portrait style deluxe maple cabinets with crown molding are shown in the kitchen. Solid surface countertops along with an undermount stainless steel sink are just a few highlights to check out! 9’ ceilings are on the first floor along with a knockdown ceiling texture. Be sure to see the wall of windows in the Great Room and the two small Craftsman style windows in the Dining Room and on either side of the stone faced fireplace in the Great Room. Pella sliding glass doors have been added to the back of the Master Bedroom and the Dining Room. There’s many more details … too many to mention. You’ll just have to come out and see!
