How much does it cost to build a custom home?

We partner with WesBanco to help you explore financing options tailored to your needs. One popular option is a construction loan, which works a bit differently than a traditional mortgage.
With a construction loan, you pay interest only on the amount that has been drawn to cover construction costs — meaning your payments start lower and gradually increase as your home progresses. Once construction is complete, the loan typically converts into a traditional mortgage, covering the full cost of your completed home.
Since every financial situation is unique, we’ll work closely with you and your lender to find the best financing solution for your custom home.
How long does it take to build a custom home?
On average, building a custom home takes about 10 to 12 months from start to finish. This timeline can vary based on the size and complexity of the home, weather conditions, and the speed of approvals and permits.
Can I build on my own land, and what should I know before buying land?
Absolutely! As a custom on-your-lot builder, this is our specialty. Before purchasing land, there are a few important things to consider:

Yes! Our model homes are open 7 days a week, so you can visit anytime to explore our craftsmanship and get inspired. Explore our model homes by location or schedule an appointment to plan your visit.
Since all of our completed homes are private residences, we don’t have public tours — but our incredible homeowners are often generous enough to open their doors to future homeowners. If there’s a particular floor plan you’d like to see and we don’t have a model of it, we’ll do our best to arrange a private tour.
