It was a great experience building with Wayne Homes, our field manager Tim Bush is amazing, he explained every step, kept us well informed and spent a lot of attention to detail. We have had minor complications, and Wayne Homes corrected them all in a timely manner.

We have had THE best experience building our first home. The consultants at the portage center are more than accommodating and helpful, they feel like family from the start! We love our portage team and look forward to the continued process!

Wayne Homes had experienced subcontractors working on our home. The quality shows in the woodwork, drywall, basement block, windows, doors, and elsewhere. We are even happy with the finish materials like lighting, countertops, and plumbing. The field manager was easy to talk to and fair. He led the build process quite efficiently. We moved in our new home in 7 months. Very happy with everything they did. No unpleasant surprises.

When we first started looking at builders for our new home, we were very nervous about the whole process because you hear horror stories. From our very first interaction with Wayne Homes at the model center to the very last day at closing and getting the keys to our new home, everything went extremely well! Their process is very easy and you are kept in the loop the entire time! Communication is key when having a large project like building a home and Wayne homes is great with communication. Our field manager Ray was so easy to work with and always available even on the weekends if questions came up! The quality of materials they use is also better than their competition in our opinion! We couldn’t be more happy! Thank you for everything!

The entire team at Wayne homes was great. From the first meeting to closing, the process was smooth and communication was great. They built us a wonderful custom home with great materials at an amazing price. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a custom home if you want great value for the money.

We absolutely love our new home!! It’s so fun being in something that WE designed, seeing it come to life and now living here! We hope to have many, many wonderful years here with our family and friends. Thank you for partnering with us on our journey. We felt like we weren’t just some number or line item on a spreadsheet, we felt like they really cared the whole time. They got to know us. The design process can be a little overwhelming, but they did a great job walking us through it. Our field manager was incredible! Always responsive to any need or question I had (and I ask a lot of questions lol). Always communicating with us, giving us updates through the entire build. He had our best interest in mind, and any time he could effect a positive change on our behalf he would. I think you’ll love your home if you build with Wayne!

We had a very smooth construction experience along with very minor hiccups that Wayne Homes was quick to resolve. The Wayne Homes team was very helpful throughout the process.

From beginning to end, everyone was very helpful! They answered all our questions promptly and everyone was very knowledgeable about everything during the whole process. We had the pleasure of working with Sue Crow who was AMAZING! She continued to check on us throughout the whole process, ensuring we were well taken care of. Tom Strejcek was our project manager and great throughout the process. Due to his hard work, we were able to finish much sooner than we thought! So thankful for everyone that we had on our team!

We have worked with Jeremy to design our custom home and he has made the process an absolute pleasure. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to build.

Wayne Homes is very attentive to the homeowners needs and goes above and beyond to make sure they deliver exactly what was requested. From color and design with Julie Hoffman to construction with field manager Butch Mundy we couldn’t be happier. We did many design changes and all were delivered with excellent craftsmanship. We had a great experience with all the staff at Wayne Homes & Mark our field manager! From the beginning to the end, everyone we worked with was GREAT! Whenever we needed anything Mark always got it done and always was there! The process went very smooth and pretty quick. We’re so happy to finally be in & we are LOVING our new home!! Being this is the third home I’ve built, first with Wayne, the process and experience is unmatched. The ability to customize anything you want is refreshing and really allowed for us to bring our vision to reality for our forever home. From the initial signing to closing, everyone on our build team was friendly, informative and overall kept us reassured that Wayne was the right choice. Our field manager is probably one of the best in the business. He kept us up to date multiple times a week and answered our questions no matter the time or day. He is continuing to check in and follow up with us to make sure we are satisfied even after closing.

We had the best experience from first time there. Jeanetta in design really heard what we wanted and spent a lot of time making every detail work. She was patient when she knew I was overwhelmed. Tina the project manager we seriously consider family! She was there for every question, concern or last minute change of plans. Our walk thru she was so thorough and made sure we understood everything. We have said many times, there is seriously nothing we can say bad about Wayne Homes!

The ladies at the office are great. Heidi, our Design Consultant was very detailed when going over plans and picking finishes. Things we didn’t even think about, she did! Overall we are in love with our home. The contractors Wayne Homes used did a great job. Any concerns we had our field manager, David addressed right away. Even being in our home now for a month, we keep in touch with David. Majority of the issues we encountered were with things that Wayne Homes doesn’t deal with (water, sewage, electric hookups on our land). Even though they didn’t have part of that, they still helped and gave advice on how to proceed. It took approx 9 months form our dig date to move in. Each step of the way we were able to look at the work being completed as well as add anything we wanted on our own. I would build with Wayne Homes again.

Not a day went by when some work was not being done on our house. I can’t believe Wayne could build a truly custom home in under 5 months (and I had A LOT of completely custom modifications)! My field manager was outstanding. Tom was extremely available and willing to help – at any time of day. He kept us up-to-date and made sure I was happy with the results. He also went above and beyond to accommodate several, large, last-minute requests (which he didn’t have to do), which greatly improved the end result. He was truly a pleasure to work with! I would highly recommend Wayne to anyone.

Our experience was awesome. Yes..there were a few snags here and there because…Covid!! But they managed everything very well!! And our field manager Matt Weddle was the most important piece on our end!! He went above and beyond to ensure we were pleased. Even addressing things I wanted done that were not the responsibility of Wayne Homes!! I couldn’t be more pleased!!

It’s rare to find a company with so many amazing people! The people who helped design & build my home jumped through so many hoops to make sure my custom home was the home of my dreams! I couldn’t thank them more for the amount of effort they put forth into making this home perfect!

Brandi & Kayla designed a home I didn’t even know I needed. I brought forth concepts and they executed them. There were moments in the beginning when I just felt, “something isn’t perfect” and we spent HOURS brainstorming, drawing, redrawing and mastering the perfect floor plan. We often joked about how much white-out we went through! But they never made me feel rushed or that’s my over the top custom requests were unrealistic.

Once this build started, we were introduced to Chuck, our field manager. I was told he was one of the best but I’ll be honest, I didn’t think it could get any better. He surpassed any and all expectations. I always appreciated how easy it was to get ahold of him. A quick call or text and he was sure to answer. We made many changes during the build, when things didn’t turn out how I thought they would in my head. Or when I thought I would like something and changed my mind. Again, he never made this process feel burdened. One moment I’ll never forget is, when he called me about custom trim because he wasn’t sure I’d like what I initially designed. We spoke about it and in fact, it wasn’t what I wanted. It’s hard to always envision things but his attention to detail, ability to listen and most importantly, desire to get to know his customers is what made this moment memorable.

If I could give these individuals 10/10 stars I would! Thank you for making this childhood dream come true! We are proud to be part of the Wayne Family!

Over the past year, we have had the pleasure of working with Matt Porter, Sandy Kline, Kyle Philips and others on Keller’s Gettysburg project and I am thoroughly impressed with their professionalism, craftsmanship, and dedication to excellence.From the initial consultation to the final walk-through, Wayne Home’s team demonstrated a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high-quality product.One of the main reasons we chose Wayne Home’s was because of Matt Porter. Matt made us feel important and truly cared that we selected the house of our dreams. Even after the sales process Matt was always available to answer questions and continue to follow up to ensure we were happy with the construction of our home. The finished product not only met but exceeded our expectations.The most remarkable qualities of working with Sandy Kline, field manager, was his ability to listen to and understand our needs and desires. Everything went smooth. We especially appreciated the extra effort to get us into our home well before the holidays. The overall craftsmanship is amazing. Butch is excellent, and exceeded our expectations in every way as our construction manager!
