Featured Raving Fan of the Month: The Conrad Family

Each month we like to introduce you to a Wayne Homes customer who’s built their home with us and who can offer some serious inspiration to those who might be considering building a Wayne Homes home. This month, we’re happy to be introducing you to the Conrad family. Charles and Tricia built their Washington Classic with us in Norwalk, Ohio, back in 2017. We caught up with them to learn more about their home, their Wayne building experience, and a bit more about their family too!

Why did you choose Wayne Homes as your builder?

Our new home consultant Melanie Ritz was fantastic. She is the sole reason we chose Wayne Homes. She cared for my kids and their requests, and followed up so well. She even gave us time and attention when we ran into her in public. We also felt the price was just right!

Which Wayne Homes floorplan did you choose?

We chose the Washington floorplan.

What’s your favorite custom feature in your home?

We love the airy and open 9 ft. ceilings!

How do you and your family spend time in and around your home?

Our family loves playing games, playing outside with our dog, and taking in some fresh air and relaxing on the deck.

What was the best part of your Wayne homebuilding experience?

Brainstorming ideas with Melanie! Our Field manager, Tim Rush, was great to work with too. He communicated well and was very easy to reach. He always responded quickly and never made me feel stupid when asking questions. He did a great job of moving things along and doing great with our timeline.

What would you tell your friends about Wayne Homes?

We’d tell them that Wayne makes building easy!

How many kids in your family and what are their ages?

We have two children, ages 12 and 15.

Do you have pets, and if so, what are their names?

Our dog is named Josie.

Do you or anyone in your family have any special talents or hobbies?

As far as talents – singing…for some of us 🙂 ! As for hobbies, the family enjoys golfing, playing basketball, and crafting.
