Sandusky Raving Fans Recap 2022

Our Raving Fans are pretty amazing.

Wayne Homes customers first become homeowners then, if they’re loving the process and what Wayne Homes offers, they become Raving Fans. If you don’t know what that means, a Raving Fan is a customer who is so overwhelmed and floored by the customer service they’ve received that they can’t stop telling everyone about it. We are lucky to have Raving Fans in all of the markets we serve, and we love connecting with them.

That’s something we pride ourselves on here at Wayne Homes–our customer relationships don’t end at closing. They keep going! You can count on us to be there for you. We know that your homeownership journey just begins on closing day, so we’re here as you grow with your Wayne home. One of the ways we stay connected is through fun events we plan throughout the year.

Our most recent Raving Fans event was a Wine Tasting Event at Quarry Hill Winery with the team from our Sandusky Model Home Sales Center.

Sandusky Raving Fans and our Sandusky team members enjoyed catering by Capizzi’s Pizzeria that included:

• Pasta Salads (homemade caprese, veggie, and macaroni salad)
• Stacked salad cups (loaded with fresh veggies)
• Turkey, ham, and cheese wraps (cut into thirds) with bright colors of spinach green, tomato basil, and whole wheat wraps
• Bowtie meatballs in marinara sauce
• Waterfall on fresh fruits (from the orchard of course!)
• Charcuterie boards with cheese, sliced meats, and crackers cut into snack size
• Chocolate charcuterie board with homemade chocolate chip cookies from local bakery Manuella’s, fresh strawberries, some apples from Quarry Hill with melted caramel, mini sugar waffles, and of course lots of chocolate pieces

It was a beautiful afternoon to raise a glass to our Sandusky Raving Fans at Quarry Hill Winery.

There were eight Raving Fans families in attendance. Wayne Homes team members in attendance included Lauren Glinn, Sales Manager, and Melanie Ritz, New Home Consultant, from our Sandusky office, and Jarod Martin, Warranty Manager, and Walt Bremenour, Field Manager, who are members of the construction team at the Ashland/Sandusky office.

Attendees said the weather was absolutely perfect! It was sunny and in the low 80s with a pleasant breeze. Everyone in attendance enjoyed a selection of local wines from Quarry Hill. Wines sampled include:

• Pinnacle
• Buckeye Red
• Pinot Grigio
• Riesling
• Niagara
• Sweet Apple Wine
• AND a not-yet-released bourbon wine

Thank you to all of our Raving Fans for being such wonderful homeowners and supporters of Wayne Homes.

As our way to say thanks, each Sandusky Raving Fan family in attendance received a custom wine stopper and was able to select a favorite bottle of wine to take home with them. The custom wine stoppers were made by Anthony Troise of Exotic Wood Works LLC.

Gift cards in different amounts to a variety of places (such as Target, Amazon, Olive Garden, TJ Maxx, etc.) were also given to each family in attendance. It was a win-win wine event that had everyone saying “Cheers!”.
