Welcoming our Raving Fans to the Taste of the North Coast
We spend a lot of time working with our future homeowners to ensure that their custom home is exactly what they pictured in their minds. This involves a lot of thought and discussion, so naturally, we get to know our homeowners pretty well!
Given we grow quite close to our homeowners, it would be a shame if we just handed over the key to their home and never talked again, though unfortunately that’s how some builders operate. At Wayne Homes, though, we see our customers as family, and want to keep that family together even after they move into their new home.
That’s why we started the Raving Fans program. It’s a great way for us to stay in touch with the homeowners we work with, and to show our appreciation for their support and referrals. We’ve been holding events as part of the program since the early 2000’s and look forward to many more years to come.
In late January, we welcomed 16 homeowners as well as our own employees to the Kalahari Convention Center in Sandusky to enjoy food, wine and conversation at the Taste of the North Coast, presented by the Erie County Chamber of Commerce.
Guests mingled and sampled food from the area’s best restaurants and eateries. The dishes were paired with wine from all around the world, and the Great Lakes Brewing Company provided a variety of delicious beer for those who wanted to sample some.
This event was a stellar opportunity to get to know our homeowners better, and to continue to foster strong relationships with them, as well as with our own team members. Past Sandusky Sales Manager Lisa Sidoti was pleased with the event results: “It was wonderful to have an evening out with our homeowners. We were able to just have fun and get to know each other better on a more personal level. This was a fantastic event; I am sure that the Sandusky team and their Raving Fans will be attending for years to come.”
We had a wonderful time at this year’s Taste of the North Coast, and are glad our homeowners did too! We’re excited for the next Raving Fans event, too, as it provides us such a great opportunity to enjoy the wonderful company of our homeowners.
