Although the Somerville has a modest footprint, it has more charm per square foot than ever. With its classic Cape Cod design, the Somerville can’t help but be adorable. If you’re looking for curb appeal, efficient design, and value, then the Somerville is the home for you.

This homeowner selected the Classic elevation and chose to add square footage to the left side of the home. As you enter this Somerville Open House through the front door, you find yourself in the foyer and facing the traditional center staircase with the included half-capped wall.
As you continue into the home, you’ll see the great room and kitchen located to the left of the stairs. The great room is approximately 17′ x 13′ and flows directly into the dining room/kitchen. This homeowner opted to remove the wall between the great room and kitchen/dining room to create an even more open main living space.
The kitchen is approximately 10′ x 11′ and has Sinclair Birch painted cabinets on the wall and Sinclair Birch stained cabinets for the island. The kitchen features dual-colored countertops to complement their dual-colored cabinets. The added square footage this homeowner built into the design allows for a walk-in pantry for fantastic storage alongside the kitchen. Next to the kitchen is the approximately 8′ x 10′ dining room. Off of the dining room is the laundry room, which is approximately 6′ x 5′ in size.
As you walk to the right side of the home, you’ll see a half bathroom was added which is ideal for guests. This added feature allows the owner bathroom to be a private retreat for the owners only. Opposite the half bathroom is the owner suite. The owner bedroom is approximately 14′ x 13′ in size with an approximately 10′ x 5′ walk-in closet. The owner bathroom has a tub/shower combo and a 36″ vanity.
Upstairs you discover that the dormer windows and simple roofline of the Somerville transform the secondary bedrooms into magical spaces. Bedroom 2 is 14′ x 15′ in size with a 5′ wall closet. Bedroom 3 is 11′ x 15′ with a 5′ wall closet. The upstairs bathroom is located between both bedrooms and has a linen closet, 36″ vanity, and the included tub/shower surround.
This Somerville features the included 12-course basement that is unfinished, which is great for storage now and can be finished for additional living space in the future. Off of the kitchen and great room, this homeowner added an approximately 5′ x 5′ mudroom that has a door leading outside and is located close to the pantry, making it an ideal drop zone for groceries.
Although this Somerville does not include a garage, there is the option to add a garage on the kitchen/living room side of the home with entry from the garage into the kitchen.
