Wayne Homes, a custom-home builder specializing in lot homes, has announced the recent promotion of Field Manager Scott Rubert to Construction Manager of the company’s office in Newark, Ohio.
Ohio-based custom home builder Wayne Homes has announced the promotion of Field Manager Scott Rubert to Construction Manager in the company’s Newark, OH office. In his new role, Scott will be one of three Construction Managers who will have teams building custom new homes in West Virginia.
The promotion comes as part of Wayne Homes’ growth plan to accommodate increased demand for affordable custom homes in each of the five states where they build, including West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
Rubert originally joined Wayne Homes in October 2011 as a Field Manager. Prior to joining Wayne Homes, he owned and operated two homebuilding and remodeling companies. Rubert, who served in the United States Marine Corps for four years, also spent seven years as a Production Manager for TK Constructors. It was while working at TK Constructors that Scott met current Wayne Homes President George Murphy, who also worked there at the time.
