Winners of our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest!
Being in the business of building homes is an inherently people-centric industry. We don’t just build a physical structure; we build homes for people – lots of families! – based on their unique needs, desires and future goals. While we deal a lot with tangible physical materials, much of what we do revolves around intangibles, like our customers’ dreams.
That being the case, we get pretty close with our customers, and have formed a big extended family of sorts. To keep close with that extended family, and to continue to show our customers how much we appreciate the opportunity to work with them, we like hosting community-centric events, giveaways and contests. Our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest is one such event, and it recently wrapped up with some seriously impressive results!
To enter, families “liked” us on Facebook, then submitted their photos for consideration. We decided on four categories:
- Judge’s Choice for kids up to age 9
- People’s Choice for kids up to age 9
- Judge’s Choice for kids age 10-15
- People’s Choice for kids age 10-15
and those who placed receive a $50 gift card to their choice of either Toys R Us or Best Buy. The results were really wonderful to witness; we have so many creative customers!
Without further ado, here are the winners of this year’s costume contest!
- People’s Choice award for ages 9 and under: Aubree Jo – 2 month old bunny
- People’s Choice award for ages 10+: Emilee – 11 years old as Audrey Hepburn
- Judge’s Choice for ages 9 and under: Ava – 9 years old dressed as a lion
- Judge’s Choice for ages 10+: Tyler – 10 years old dressed as a guy caught by a gorilla
