Enter the 10th Annual Landscape Contest
Spring has sprung, and everyone is breaking out their rakes, mulch, and favorite flowers to prepare for the 10th Annual Wayne Homes Landscape Contest!
As a custom, on-your-lot builder, we obviously spend a lot of time thinking about the construction and interior of the home, but landscaping is the finishing touch that says “welcome home”.
Curb appeal creates the best first impression for your home. And landscaping is a huge part of your curb appeal. You don’t have to be a seasoned gardener to enter our Landscape Contest. We’re inviting everyone–from brand new homeowners to green-thumb garden enthusiasts–to enter the contest. Simple, well-tended front-yard flower beds can wow every bit as much as a full-on garden oasis, so remember…every entry counts. Don’t know where to start? The 2020 Wayne Homes Landscape Contest will run from May 18 – July 6.
Winners will be announced on July 10, and we have some great prizes to award! Winners will receive a Lowe’s gift card: $1,000 for first place, $500 for second and $250 for third. Plus, you have a chance to win the People’s Choice Award, which is good for another $500 gift card!
You can also help us find the People’s Choice winner by visiting our Facebook page (you have to like us for your vote to count!) and choosing your favorite, once the contest opens May 18.
Let your green thumb get busy! Got a killer herb garden? A zen backyard retreat? Or maybe hanging baskets that are the envy of the neighborhood. No matter what you decide to do, be sure to submit those stunning digital photos on the contest page (no photoshop or editing please!) by July 6.
If you’re lacking in inspiration, check out some ideas courtesy our 2019 Landscape Contest Winners. Past winners aren’t eligible to win again, but if you have entered before and haven’t placed, there’s no reason not to give it another go! So, bust out your bulbs and seeds, grab your gardening gloves and get ready to show us what you’re capable of. May the best lawn win!
