Everyday Luxury

Sometimes it’s the little things that make life seem luxurious. For example, an owner’s suite that feels like an upscale hotel room. The Jackson’s owner suite is located on its own level of the home–midway up the stairs to the top floor. It features a large walk-in closed the bathroom includes a shower, double vanity, an enclosed toilet space, and a large linen closet. It’s your own sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of life.

Other “every day luxuries” in the Jackson include a separate “housekeeping pantry” next to the kitchen, which is perfect for storing cleaning products, extra household supplies, etc. A place for everything! Speaking of storage…all bedrooms have walk-in closets, including all of the secondary bedrooms. That just makes life easier!

Designed for Life

The Jackson really is designed to make family life easier. The laundry room is located on the same level as the owner’s suite, making chores a bit easier. And, once the laundry is folded, the kids and easily grab their laundry and put it away themselves, as the laundry room is also convenient to the secondary bedrooms on the top floor.

The garage enters the foyer making for an efficient and convenient landing zone. Pair that with a half bathroom and walk-in coat closet located off of the foyer and just inside the door from the garage, and there really is no excuse for muddy boots making their way inside your home. Kids can drop their bags, boots, toys and have a bathroom break, or just head inside to relax with dirty footprints avoided.

Keeps Everyone Connected

The cooking/eating/living connection in the Jackson floor plan is second to none. The kitchen features a large island that is over 10′ long and about 4.5′ deep with a flush eat ledge, bringing hungry kids together for snacks or homework time. The kitchen opens directly to the spacious dining room, so sight lines stay open as does the conversation. The kitchen and dining room open directly to the large two-story great room at the rear of the home, really making that living/dining connection strong.

A flex room is located at the front of the home just off of the dining room, which is perfect for a home office or a play room conveniently located to make it easy to keep an eye on the kids.

Kaitlin Haugh is the Product Designer who designed and created the Jackson. She shared her inspiration behind the plan. “This floor plan was designed with families in mind to make everyday living easy,” Kaitlin said. “The great sight lines from the kitchen to the dining room and great room encourages conversation and makes it easy to keep an eye on things.” Kaitlin noted the Jackson is currently Wayne Homes’ only 5-level split floor plan. With so many levels, there truly is a space for everyone! “The loft area on the top floor is a great space for kids’ activities, a hang out space, or even doing homework, and the lower level has a recreation room, which could be used as a game room, movie theater, hang out space, exercise room, etc.” The options are endless with the Jackson.
