Raving Fan of the Month: The Geissbauer Family

Keeping up with our homeowners is one of our favorite things to do. While other builders may think the client-customer relationship is over after closing…we take a different approach. We offer a warranty that allows our homeowners to contact us if anything should go wrong during the first two years and beyond, and we also just like sharing their stories! We find this helps anyone who’s thinking about building a home with Wayne way more than anything else because there’s simply no one better to describe the homebuilding process than someone who’s walked in those shoes.

This month, we are featuring Mark and Rachel Geissbauer – Raving Fans from our Sandusky office. They built their Washington Tradition in Sandusky, Ohio in 2015. They worked with Jennifer Neese, who was a New Home Consultant at the time, but now is the Sales Manager at the Sandusky location. Let’s hear about their homebuilding story.

Why did you choose Wayne Homes as your builder?

Wayne has a good reputation and our super helpful and friendly New Home Consultant (Jen) really made us want to work together.

Which Wayne Homes floor plan did you choose?

We chose the Washington.

What’s your favorite custom feature?

The extra downstairs bedroom, the fireplace, and our bay walkout.

How do you and your family spend time in and around your home?

We love it–we constantly entertain family and friends. We love to show off our home!

What was the best part of your Wayne homebuilding experience?

The best part was the decision-making process. We loved making the house “our home” with all the things that make it special to us. We loved seeing the walls go up too.

What would you tell your friends about Wayne Homes?

If you build a house…build with Wayne Homes. Beautiful houses, great people and a wonderful experience!

How many kids in your family and what are their ages?

We have two daughters.

Do you have pets, and if so, what are their names?

Yes. We have Mr. Dingles (Cat), Lucky (Dog) and Snowflake (Bunny).

Do you or anyone in your family have any special talents or hobbies?

Our family is involved in soccer, music, dancing, and massage therapy.
