The Schnurrs, our Featured Raving Fan of the Month
Over the decades, we’ve built up a pretty huge community of Wayne Homes families. We like to recognize and shine some attention on that community through various programs, contests, and community events. One such program is our Raving Fans series, in which we profile a Wayne Homes customer who really personifies everything we love about what we do.
Our newest Raving Fans winners are Dean and Sarah Schnurr. This lovely couple also happened to have won the People’s Choice award in our landscape contest earlier this year! Here is a little more about the Schnurr’s, their Wayne Home experience and their home (they live in a custom McAllister, in case you’re curious!) and more.
Favorite custom feature: The Schnurrs are an active couple who love to entertain in their home. They said they love the open floorplan of their custom McAllister, and spend a lot of their free team hanging out with guests at the kitchen bar top and in the great room. During the warmer months, Dean and Sarah spend more time on the covered back porch than any other room in the house.
In their own words: Dean has already referred two families to Wayne Homes — thanks Dean! — and says he has zero reservations about sending more friends and family us. “It was an amazing experience,” he said of building a home with Wayne.
Their favorite part of the homebuilding experience: Dean and Sarah’s wedding date was planned for May 21, 2016. The Wayne Homes staff was aware of the coming nuptials and worked hard to complete the house before the wedding. The Schnurrs closed and had the keys in hand on May 19, two days before they said “I do.” “Wow, what an incredible wedding gift from Wayne Homes!” Dean said.
It’s folks like the Schnurrs who make what we do so incredibly worthwhile. Thanks to them for being such enthusiastic members of the Wayne Homes family!
