Featured Raving Fan of the Month: Mark and Peggy Caputo
Every month, we feature some very special Wayne homeowners who are gracious enough to share their homebuilding journeys with us. At Wayne Homes, we believe the relationships we build as we build homes together don’t end at closing. We keep in touch with our homeowners not only to be able to share their stories with others, but also because they are, and always will be, part of the Wayne family. We call these homeowners our Raving Fans. This month, we are featuring Mark and Peggy Caputo. Mark and Peggy built a Providence II Craftsman with our Sandusky Model Center last fall and moved in just after the new year.
Why did you choose Wayne Homes as your builder?
We loved the people at the Sandusky office…Melanie Ritz and Jennifer Neese!
What’s your favorite feature or room?
We love our large foyer and beautiful open floor plan!
What would you tell a friend about Wayne Homes?
Don’t ever believe building a home is too much time, trouble or tension! They will show you how and make it so rewarding.
Who at Wayne Homes made a difference?
Our New Home Consultant, Melanie, and Sales Manager, Jennifer Neese, brought everything together. They were great to work with.
What was the best part of building your Wayne home?
Working with Lee Roberts as our Field Manager! Lee was THE BEST! He positioned our home so perfectly on our lot. He would always send photo updates during our process too. We loved how quickly our home was finished!
How would you describe your style? Warm and traditional? Cool and contemporary? Funky and eclectic? Rustic Farmhouse? Craftsman Lodge? Something else?
I would say generally we have a warm and traditional style. With our new Providence II Craftsman home, I am calling this my Craftsman Cottage!
What would you add to your home if money were no object?
I would make a bigger covered porch, and perhaps make it a three-season porch with lots of windows/screens. I would put bigger transom windows in my two bathrooms.
