Meet the sales team
Our dedicated team of Sales Managers and New Home Consultants are here to make your dream home a reality.
Lena New Home Consultant
Let us tell you a just a few details about Lena. She was born in Japan, grew up near Columbus, OH, is the second youngest of four kids, went to college in Utah, moved back to Japan after college, returned to Ohio, has worked in both healthcare and home leasing, and now helps our customers bring their dream homes to life. Let’s just say – we know Lena is ready for anything that comes her way! She describes herself as compassionate, intelligent, and dependable. And we know our customers will find her to be helpful, creative, and excited to help them along the journey to their new homes! She also enjoys working out at the gym, cooking up new Asian-inspired recipes, and cuddling with her dogs (because who wouldn’t).
Mariah New Home Consultant
It’s true that opposites attract. But at Wayne Homes, we more often observe that like attracts like. Take Mariah, for example. When she first began working for Wayne, she said this in a self-evaluation: “My coworkers have shown me how attentive and driven they are to ensuring the happiness of everyone that builds with Wayne Homes.” Why did that appeal to her? Because attentive and driven to ensure the happiness of customers is exactly what Mariah is. In fact the reason she left a great job with a luxury apartment developer to come work with us was, as she put it, to find a company that has great values. And that is, of course, because she has great values. Like her love of art and the enjoyment she gets from helping friends with interior decorating. And what’s her favorite quote? “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams” – Eleanor Roosevelt. Which points to another value that Mariah shares with Wayne Homes: the desire to make beautiful dreams come true.
Julie New Home Consultant
With experience in mortgage loans, sales, and interior design, Julie knows exactly what it takes to build a new, custom home. Her contagious enthusiasm and positive attitude will add even more enjoyable experiences at our Delaware Model Center. “I’m looking forward to building a long-lasting relationship with my customers,” she said. “Building a home is typically the biggest thing you do in your life and I’m excited to create the best possible and memorable experiences I can for my homeowners. I feel honored to be a part of that!” At home, Julie enjoys spending time with her three children, and miniature white Schnauzer, Roxie. And as most moms would say, her children are her hobby!
Amanda Sales Manager
Like any reasonably well-run company, we at Wayne Homes try to hire good people. Smart people. Nice people. But we’ll be honest: we’re not exactly sure how it is that we attract such interesting people. Like Amanda Darling. She started out here as a New Home Consultant. And because she was really smart and really nice and a solid leader, she’s now one of our Sales Managers. But before she came to us, she used to be a professor at a liberal arts college. She actually has a PhD in humanities. Her dissertation was a Machiavellian analysis of the reign of Tsar Nicholas II, an inter-disciplinary study merging political philosophy with history. We tried Googling these phrases and we still don’t know what they mean. All we know is that Amanda is wonderful to work with (even if she does use big words every now and then) and that it’s really fun to call her Dr. Darling.
