First Place
Terry VanGundy – Delaware, Ohio
Floor plan: Gettysburg
The VanGundy’s Gettysburg features a courtyard-style backyard with a multi-tiered patio, including a water feature, dining area, and conversation space. Large potted plants and surrounding hostas soften the patio area, making the space an inviting and private getaway.
Second Place
Regis and Sharon Karlheim – Patton, Pennsylvania
Floor plan: Providence
The Karlheim’s Providence home showcases a back patio with a built-in oven and three separate sitting areas. The private patio area is surrounded by a combination of stone beds and mulch with weigelas, grasses and daylilies, and overlooks a wooded backyard.
Third Place
Joshua Sells – Marshallville, Ohio
Floor plan: Montgomery
Sells’ Montgomery has classic curb appeal with brickwork and greenery. The front entry expands from the home’s Craftsman elevation, featuring stone pavers with half walls and seating areas. Hostas and ornamental trees with tiered front flower beds line the stone walls leading to the front door.
People’s Choice
Kim Fadeley – Hopedale, Ohio
Floor plan: Montgomery
Fadeley’s Montgomery home features greenery and flowers for a pop of color leading to the front entry. With over 150 likes on Facebook, the Fadeley’s entry clinched the People’s Choice Award.
