Custom home builder Wayne Homes has introduced a new and improved Gettysburg model at their Sandusky location.
Uniontown, OH – Wayne Homes celebrated the grand re-opening of the Gettysburg model at the company’s Sandusky Model Home Center this past weekend. The home was remodeled inside and out, and redecorated by Mandil, Inc. from Denver, Colorado to feature current popular design trends for new custom homes.
At the grand re-opening event, visitors toured the redesigned Gettysburg to view its new features.
“The stream of visitors was non-stop both days,” Sales manager Jennifer Neese said. “The word of the weekend was ‘wow, what a change!’ It’s safe to say we exceeded the expectations of those who came to see the finished product.”
The three-bedroom, two-bath, ranch-style Gettysburg shows an open concept design, making it family friendly and perfect for entertaining. The kitchen, designed from the Providence II floorplan kitchen, features Aristokraft maple antique painted cabinets, a subway tile backsplash, quartz countertops, and a farmhouse-style sink.
“So many families today love an open concept,” Neese said. “The feeling when you walk into this home is one of comfort, function, letting the outside in, and a great use of space!”
The home also has luxury vinyl flooring throughout the main living area and a black granite tile fireplace face with a black painted Kenwood style mantle in the great room. A vented solar skylight, a fixed skylight, and a vented solar skylight with light filtering blinds in the great room and master bedroom show off the latest in skylight design and functionality.
The exterior of the home was refreshed to feature premium weathered shake siding, raised panel shutters, and Ottawa dry stack stone, giving it a lake cottage feel.
“This model gives our prospects a great opportunity to see the layout of two different homes, the Gettysburg and the Providence II,” Maurie Jones, Vice President of Marketing, said. “Since we can’t build a model of every floor plan we offer, we took the opportunity to show a couple different features of the Providence II in the Gettysburg. So far the response from our clients and prospects has been very positive.”
At the event, guests also had the opportunity to win a $500 Kalahari Resort gift card and a gift basket, courtesy of Home Savings. The $500 Kalahari Resort gift card was raffled off and won by Jonathan and Brittaney Brandt of Lorain, Ohio. Justin Sherman went home with the gift basket.
