Wayne Homes has announced the hire of John Cross as construction manager at the Delaware Model Center and Monica Wieder as construction manager at the Newark Model Center.
Uniontown, OH – Wayne Homes, an Ohio-based custom home builder, has announced the hire of John Cross as construction manager at the Delaware Model Center in Sunbury, Ohio and Monica Wieder as construction manager at the Newark Model Center in Hebron, Ohio.
Cross comes to Wayne Homes with over 20 years of experience in retail sales management and operations.
“Jon’s past experience as a successful general manager is one of many valuable traits that will help him succeed as our new Construction Manager in Delaware,” Todd Mower, Regional Director of Construction, said. “Jon has an outstanding work ethic and he shares all of our company’s core values.”
Cross is passionate about residential construction and is looking forward to advancing his career in the construction industry.
Cross is a graduate of Worthington High School in Sharon Township, Ohio and received his Bachelor’s degrees in marketing and management from the University of Cincinnati. He currently resides in Lewis Center, Ohio with his wife and two children.
Wieder is returning to Wayne Homes after relocating to the Columbus area from South Carolina has over 14 years of experience in the construction industry.
“Monica’s experience and attitude towards the building process was a key factor in choosing her for the position,” Scott Warner, Regional Director of Construction, said. “She has the ‘I’ll make it happen’ attitude and drive, and is a true team player.”
Wieder is excited to be back at Wayne Homes and is looking forward to advancing her career as a construction manager.
“I look forward to utilizing my past experience as a warranty manger, field manager, and construction manager to improve my team, help them grow, and delivering excellent customer experiences,” Wieder said.
Wieder is a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania with Bachelor’s degrees in biology and chemistry. She currently resides in Frazeysburg, Ohio with her fiancé.
