Uniontown, OH – Wayne Homes, an Ohio-based custom home builder, has announced Scott Warner as the new Director of Purchasing for the company.
In his new role, Warner will continue to build and maintain relationships with the company’s trade partners and manufacturers. Warner will also be working alongside Tom Benedict, the current Vice President of Purchasing, until Benedict’s retirement in October 2022.
Warner joined Wayne Homes in 2003 in the estimating department. Since then, he has held several management positions in the construction services area including, Field Manager, Warranty Manager, Sales Manager, and most recently, Regional Director of Construction.
“Scott’s long and varied Wayne Homes experience make him uniquely qualified and extremely valuable in his new purchasing role,” Joel Cardinal, Vice President of Construction Services, said.
Prior to joining Wayne Homes, Scott served in the United States Army, Army Reserves, and for many years as a volunteer firefighter in Sebring, OH where Scott and his wife Lori currently reside. Together they have three daughters, Ashley, Abbigail, and Hannah.
