Wayne Homes Announces New Senior Vice President of Construction

Wayne Homes has announced the promotion of Steve Wessel to Senior Vice President of Construction.

Uniontown, OH – Wayne Homes, an Ohio-based custom homebuilder, has announced the promotion of Steve Wessel to Senior Vice President of Construction.

In his new role as Senior Vice President of Construction, Wessel will have responsibility for all aspects of the company’s construction functions, including enthusiasm, starts and closings, warranty, training, safety, and employee engagement.

“Under Steve’s direction, we’ve seen steady progress in our metrics as well as team building,” Tracy Gershom, Executive Vice President of Sales and Construction, said. “Those that have had the privilege of working with Steve, know he works to make each and every one of us better.”

Wessel began his career with Wayne Homes in 2014 as the Construction Manager for the Belmont office. In 2016, he was promoted to Regional Vice President of Construction and was responsible for all aspects of the region’s performance, including construction, customer experience, and every aspect of the day-to-day operations.

Wessel is a graduate of Canon McMillan High School in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania and received his Bachelor of Arts in Education from Wheeling Jesuit University. He currently resides in Piedmont, OH with his wife, Sondra, and their son, Atlas.
