Wayne Homes Celebrates Model Grand Opening at Hartland Model Center

May 22, 2018

Custom home builder Wayne Homes celebrated the new Kinston Homestead II model at their Hartland, Michigan location this past weekend.

Uniontown, OH – Wayne Homes, an Ohio-based custom home builder that specializes in on-your-lot custom homes, celebrated the grand opening of the Kinston Homestead II model at the company’s new Hartland Model Center in Hartland, Michigan this last weekend.

The model grand opening events began on Friday, May 11 with the Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony. The celebration continued on Saturday and Sunday, May 12 and 13 with model tours, catering from Zingerman’s in Ann Arbor, and prize giveaways.

“We had a successful weekend in Hartland with the grand opening of our Kinston model,” Julie Zermeno, Sales Manager of the Hartland Model Center, said. “Several families stopped by on Saturday and Sunday to tour the brand new model, and we even sold a home on our first official day open. Wayne Homes was well represented and it was nothing short of amazing.”

The Kinston is a three-bedroom, two-story floorplan. At 2,726 square feet, the Kinston has an open floorplan with a formal dining room, a large master suite, and a second-floor laundry room conveniently located next to the bedrooms. The bonus room over the garage also provides the perfect space for a music room or playroom for the kids.

The new model highlights popular design trends, including contrasting Aristokraft antique painted and sarsaparilla stained cabinets, along with a tile backsplash and quartz countertops. The home also shows popular luxury vinyl tile flooring throughout the main living area.

The home was decorated by Jennifer Pruett, Senior Interior Designer of Mandil, Inc. in Denver, Colorado, to feature current popular design styles that are on trend for today’s new home buyer. The two secondary bedrooms also feature the local university and professional sports teams, the University of Michigan and the Detroit Redwings.

“Our visitors absolutely loved the model and were excited about what Wayne Homes had to offer,” Zermeno said. “The trim work and detail included in the model created a buzz, and the main living area, master suite, and bonus room were favorites for everyone touring.”

At the event, guests also had the opportunity to win a Zingerman’s themed gift basket worth $250, as well as University of Michigan and Michigan State University gift baskets worth $250. Jackie Henley won the Zingerman’s gift basket, Austin Stanley won the University of Michigan, and Brian Kearns won the Michigan State basket.
