Custom home builder Wayne Homes received more than a dozen awards earlier this month at the Portage and Summit County Marketing and Merchandising Excellence Awards.
Uniontown, OH – HYPERLINK “http://waynehomes.com/” Wayne Homes, an Ohio-based custom home builder that specializes in custom on-your-lot homes, received more than a dozen awards at the Portage and Summit County Marketing and Merchandising Excellence Awards (MAME). The home builder received awards for excellence in sales, customer service, marketing, design, and community contribution.
“We are thrilled to be recognized as a leader in the industry because it reflects our commitment to giving our customers the highest quality home and an exceptional customer service experience. We are particularly proud of the six individual team members who were recognized for excellence in sales and customer service,” said Wayne Homes President George Murphy.
Individual recognition went to Field Manager Matt Manack from the company’s Akron-Medina location. Manack received a Golden Hammer award for outstanding customer service. Additional individual awards went to Akron-Medina New Home Consultants Jenn Kingure and Beth Brigeman. Portage New Home Consultants Gloria Williams, Ginny Allmon-Fussaro, and Catherine Pergins were also recognized during the event.
In addition to the individual awards, the company was also recognized for Best Single Family Model between 1,901 and 2,200 square feet for the McAllister plan. The McAllister plan received top honors for Best Design Center and Best Interior Design by Kim Trautman of Trautman Interiors in Findlay, OH. According to Vice President of Marketing Maurie Jones, the MAME awards are an important benchmark of the company’s commitment to continuous improvement.

In addition to awards in design, sales, and customer service the company was also recognized for Best Signage, Best Direct Mail piece, Best use of Social Media, Best Website, and Best Charitable Community Event.
