August Featured Raving Fan: Sharon and Regis Karlheim
We’re continuing our monthly feature of a happy Wayne Homes homeowner this month with our featured Raving Fans for August 2018, Sharon and Regis Karlheim. Sharon and Regis built their stunning Providence Legacy home with us back in 2013, and live in Patton, Pennsylvania.
The Karlheims chose the 3-bed, 2-bath ranch Providence layout in part because of its classic layout and simple one-story living floorplan. The Providence is one of our most popular floorplans, and the Karlheims have turned theirs into a beautiful family home with custom features throughout that fit their lifestyle perfectly. We sat down with them to learn more about their choice of home and how they like living there!
Why did you choose Wayne Homes as your builder?
We loved the 2-year fit-and-finish warranty, and fell in love with the kitchen we saw in the Gettysburg model.
Which Wayne Homes floorplan did you choose?
We chose the Providence Legacy with the Gettysburg kitchen and other custom features.
What’s your favorite custom feature?
We love our custom stone bar, as well as the cathedral ceilings we chose to incorporate.
How do you and your family spend time in and around your home?
W
e spend most of our time in our open concept kitchen, dining and living area. We love watching TV together, playing cards, entertaining friends and enjoying wonderful meals prepared in our custom Gettysburg kitchen.
What was the best part of your Wayne homebuilding experience?
The best part was closing day when we were handed the keys to our new home!
What would you tell your friends about Wayne Homes?
People ask us all the time about our Wayne Home. Even strangers knock on our door to ask who built it…. we’re so proud!
Do you have pets, and if so, what are their names?
We have 2 beautiful white Persian cats (our fur babies!).
Do you or anyone in your family have any special talents or hobbies?
I love to bake and enter local baking contests to get a chance to compete at our state fair in Harrisburg and my husband loves to garden in our beautiful yard.
