Introducing the Wayne Homes Winchester II

We are proud to present the newest floor plan: The Wayne Homes Winchester II. The Winchester II is an updated version of the Winchester floor plan. We took what homeowners love about the Winchester and added some new features to make it even better.

Here is the new Winchester II at a glance:

• Exteriors available: Classic, Craftsman, Tradition, Legacy, Farmhouse

The Winchester is known for its space, and the Winchester II has just as much room to grow. With 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, there will be no fighting over the shower or space for the kids’ toys. However, there are some key changes we made to the Winchester II based on feedback from our valued homeowners.

One of the changes is that the entrance to the owner’s bath from the owner’s bedroom has been relocated to be on the side owner’s bathroom wall. This provides additional privacy for the owner’s bathroom. Previously, the entrance to the owner’s bathroom was just inside the owner’s bedroom doorway, which meant that there was a view from the main living area into the owner’s bathroom. This shifts those sightlines to a more private scenario.

Next, the owner’s bathroom layout was changed due to the relocation of the doorway. Our designers took advantage of the doorway change to make some improvements to the bathroom itself. Now, there’s a 60″ shower included rather than the previously included 36″ shower. The garden tub with a window above, double vanity, and linen closet are all still included. The vanity has also been moved to the wall next to the linen closet.

Some really exciting changes were made to the exterior of the Winchester II. These changes were made to align better with current exterior trends:

Classic

Now, the Classic exterior features double gables on the front of the home instead of a split gable. The tower surrounding the front door has been removed and replaced with a covered front stoop to allow more light to come through the window above the front door in the 2-story foyer. Finally, the bump out on the front of the garage has been removed to create one single gable and the garage is now front loading.

Legacy

The previous Tradition exterior has been revamped and is now the Legacy exterior for the Winchester II. This exterior features a hip roof, a split gable on the front of the home, a sideload garage, a tower with an arch above the front door, and full brick on the front of the home.

Tradition

The Tradition exterior of the Winchester II is a completely new design. It features a full front porch, board-and-batten siding with horizontal siding wainscoting, wider trim around the windows on the front of the home, and a front-load garage.

Craftsman

The Craftsman exterior of this home remains very similar to the Craftsman exterior of the original Winchester, mainly because the Craftsman style is very specific and endures the test of time.

Farmhouse

This is a new exterior option for the Winchester II! The Farmhouse exterior features board-and-batten siding on the front of the home, a full front porch with square porch posts and angled porch brackets, T-shaped gable brackets in the double gables on the front of the home, a shed roof above the front load garage, and a carriage-style garage door. Additional windows were added on the front of the dining room, den, and bedroom 4 with 6′ tall windows on the front of the first floor of the home.

You’ll be able to experience the redesigned, more private owner suite. And, finally, you’ll have the chance to ask our preferred lender, Premier Bank, any questions you have about financing.
