The Montgomery model home at our Newark Model Center has been refreshed and is ready for you to check it out. As one of our most beloved floor plans, we knew we had to dress the Montgomery model up and show off some of the amazing new features, both included and custom, that Wayne Homes offers. We all love a good before and after, so we’ve documented this transformation for all to enjoy!
We updated the paint throughout the home.
The front door was painted in Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze. The great room and kitchen accent wall is Sherwin Williams Porpoise, a dark gray-bronze. Sherwin Williams Amazing Gray was used on the other walls throughout the main living space. The laundry room and main bathroom got a facelift with Sherwin Williams Worldly Gray. The owner bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet is bright and airy with Sherwin Williams Topsail. The basement bathroom was decked out in Sherwin Williams Dovetail. The finished basement space shines in the timeless Dorian Gray from Sherwin Williams. Bedroom 2 features a pop of color with Sherwin Williams Faint Coral and Bedroom 3 is coated in Sherwin Williams Outerspace. The interior trim throughout the home and the basement stair railing, newel posts, spindles, and rosettes are painted Sherwin Williams Extra White.
The Montgomery model welcomes you in with updated foyer columns that are 8″ drywall wrapped with crown and panel molding. The gracious entry gives way to updated lighting and flooring in this easily customizable home.
Kitchen/Great Room
The first room you will notice is refreshed is the kitchen with a standout island featuring Tilden Purestyle Greyhound cabinets and a flush eat ledge which replaced the previous raised eat ledge. This packs an extra punch against the updated Tarkett Aloft Coopers Oak, Bay level 2 luxury vinyl flooring. The Marmo Bianca premium laminate countertops with a curveform edge profile – which is part of our Included Features – further brighten the space and are ready to showcase those culinary masterpieces.
Owner Suite
What a difference paint and decor can make! The bedroom was refreshed, but the owner bathroom was fully updated to feature the included Ellis Purestyle vanity in white. The included Solid White cultured marble countertop in a matte finish with included standard oval integrated sink completes the look. The Sterling Ensemble – Curve 48″ shower surround was added as well as the included Maxwell elongated bowl toilet. The flooring is Armocore Lineation Amazing Grays, one of our included sheet vinyl options.
Flex Room
The flex room pivots from a lounge to a home office with new paint and updated furniture. This shows the great value a flex room offers – the ability to change it up to best fit your family’s needs. The gorgeous room also showcases the power of paint. That accent wall is everything!
Basement Kitchenette/Rec Room
The basement kitchenette got a refresh with Lisola Fieldstone Finish premium laminate countertops with a curveform edge profile. While the cabinets stayed the same, the change in countertops and paint color make a big difference. This space is proof you can make subtle changes that have a huge impact.
Of course, with this refresh we didn’t change everything…the charming Craftsman exterior, kitchen perimeter cabinets, and other features throughout the home remain. That just goes to show you, classic design is always in style. In refreshing some elements throughout the home, we were able to transform it. It’s proof that a well-built home from Wayne will stand the test of time.
