Instagram Inspiration: New Town, New Farmhouse
We love getting an insider’s look into our customers’ build process, and that’s exactly why sharing happy homeowners’ Instagram accounts is so fun.
This month we are featuring the Draganic family from Wakeman, OH. John and Jessica Draganic built their custom Westport with farmhouse accents in 2019 with the Wayne Homes Sandusky office and are now raving fans! They worked with New Home Consultant Melanie Ritz and Project Manager Kyle Phillips.
“The whole team from start to finish was absolutely awesome to work with. Kyle, our project manager, was great at communicating with us and also keeping everything on schedule. Melanie was amazing in helping us design and finalize our plans for our dream home,” Jessica shared.
Jessica documented their build on her New Town New Farmhouse Instagram account and has continued to update the account with DIY projects, decor, and home life. They just celebrated their one-year anniversary in their home on November 7th!

Meet the Draganics: Meet this sweet family at the beginning of their homebuilding journey with Wayne.- Checking out the view: Jessica shares her kiddos looking out over their land as a beautiful sunset hits their soon-to-be back porch area.
- Walled in: Jessica shares their Westport home at the framing stage, making it all come together for her. She shared how it was a challenge for her to understand what the space is going to look like until the walls went up. Such an exciting time!
- Writing’s on the wall: Once the studs were in place, the Draganic family took an evening to write special Bible verses and quotes on the walls. Says Jessica, “This house will be our home. While this home is very important, it is the people who will live within these walls (and those that will share memories with us here) that mean the most!”
- Sharing colors: The colors meeting is one of the most exciting, and you can see Jessica preparing for her meeting with all of her paint swatches laid out.
