Wayne Homes Celebrates Model Grand Opening at Pittsburgh Model Center

March 1, 2018

Custom home builder Wayne Homes has introduced a new Franklin model at their Greensburg, Pennsylvania location.

Uniontown, OH – Wayne Homes celebrated the grand opening of the Franklin Legacy model at the company’s Pittsburgh Model Center in Greensburg, Pennsylvania this last weekend.

“We had an amazing weekend in Pittsburgh with the grand opening of our Franklin model,” Rhonda Cooper, Sales Manager of the Pittsburgh Model Center, said. “Over 80 families stopped by on Saturday and Sunday to tour the brand new model.”

The Franklin is a three-bedroom, single-story floorplan. At just over 1,800 square feet, the model has an open floorplan with an eat-in kitchen, a large master suite with his and her closets, a luxury master bath with a large ceramic tile shower, and a private den with a custom designed built-ins. The model also showcases a finished basement to show families how to create an additional living space.

The kitchen highlights popular design trends, including contrasting Aristokraft white painted and flagstone stained cabinets, along with a subway tile backsplash and a Kohler farmhouse sink. The home also shows Mannington French Oak laminate flooring throughout the main living area and shiplap has been added to the fireplace face and end-wall in the great room.

The home was decorated by Kelly Cappelletti and Darek Wilson of Kelly’s Suite II in Saint Clairsville, Ohio to feature current popular design styles that are on trend for today’s new home buyer.

“I’m most excited about having a model in Pittsburgh that will showcase what Wayne Homes is capable of as far as customization,” Cooper said. “The new Franklin includes a lot of the custom design features our customers are seeing on Pinterest and HGTV. I think that will really help us stand out from the other homebuilders in the Pittsburgh area and attract a whole new demographic of customers who are looking for an even more customized home inside and out.”

At the event, guests also had the opportunity to win a Narcisi wine gift basket worth $250, as well as a $100 gift card to Home Depot and a pair of Pittsburgh Pirate baseball game tickets, courtesy of Home Savings. Kelly’s Suite II also provided door prizes, including wreaths and other home décor items, to several visitors throughout the weekend. Karen Hardwick won the Narcisi wine gift basket, Jody Plumley won the $100 Home Depot gift card, and Leo Hoopes won the Pirate tickets.
