Wayne Homes Meet the Experts Events Recap

At Wayne Homes, we are all about learning.

We are constantly learning from each other and from our valued customers about what works, what doesn’t, and how we can continue to improve. We feel that knowledge is power. And, in that spirit of empowerment, we are proud to periodically offer “Meet the Experts” events at our Model Home Centers.

Our Wayne Homes Meet the Experts events give you the opportunity to learn from the pros and get all of your questions answered. Topics covered range from finding your lot to financing. It’s a great primer if you are interested in building with Wayne Homes and want to learn more. We recently hosted Meet the Experts events at our Delaware, Akron-Medina, and Newark locations.

Here’s a quick review of what was shared at each of these events:

Delaware Model Homes Center “Meet the Experts” Event

The event was held on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Speakers included Amanda Darling, Wayne Homes Sales Manager, Kristen Hardie, Wayne Homes Production Administrator, Darrin Kresevic, Loan Officer with Premier Bank, and Dave Richmond, Wayne Homes Construction Manager.

Amanda covered choosing and designing your forever home with Wayne and the Wayne Homes build process. She also discussed where and what to look for land, as well as the role a Realtor plays in the new build process. Kristen Hardie discussed the permitting process, homesite allowances, and touched on the banking process. Darrin provided additional insight into financing with our preferred lender, Premier Bank. Finally, Dave Richmond tackled the construction process, discussing the role of the field manager, and what the timeline looks like.

Akron-Media Model Homes Center “Meet the Experts” Event

The event was held on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Speakers included Kayla Diezman, Wayne Homes Sales Manager, Terry Blascak, Loan Officer with Premier Bank, and Brandon Hodgkiss, Realtor with Keller Williams Chervenic.

Kayla discussed all aspects of the home building process, from site prep to communication through Builder Signal. Terry discussed the differences between a construction loan and a regular loan, as well as what is needed to obtain a construction loan. As our preferred lender, Premier Bank is able to offer great programs to Wayne Homes customers. Brandon touched on the land search process, and he is a trusted partner in locating the right property to begin your new build with Wayne.

Newark Model Homes Center “Meet the Experts” Event

The event was held on Sunday, September 25, 2022. Speakers included Amanda Lawrence, Wayne Homes Sales Manager, Sue Crow, Wayne Homes New Home Consultant Level 4, Tina Drumm, Wayne Homes Field Manager Level 4, Dennis Helterbran, Loan Officer with Premier Bank, and Jeff & Kim Christensen, Realtors with Corcoran Global Living.

Amanda provided expert insight into preparing your homesite for a new build, as well as permitting and researching the area you’re building in. Sue and Tina were amazing resources explaining how to choose and build your ideal home, the Wayne Homes process, and the stages of construction. Dennis provided financing information courtesy of our preferred lender partner, Premier Bank. Finally, Jeff & Kim Christensen provided the ins and outs of looking for land and how a Realtor can support you through the build process.

At the conclusion of each of these Wayne Homes Meet the Experts presentations, there was time for questions and answers, as well as the opportunity for one-on-one conversations with panel members and other Wayne Homes team members. Each of these events gave attendees access to expert advice and professionals who can guide them on their path to home.
